Final Progress Report

After I finally figured out what I wanted to write about, I really began to jump in and enjoy it. I decided to do a google slide discussing the issues of the pictures from my previous post along with America’s known history of police brutality causing the Black Lives Matter Movement. In my slides I will describe the pictures and the current state of the country during COVID-19, how the police began to take advantage of these times to mistreat African Americans, and how this is has been an ongoing issue for decades in America. I decided to do the project as a google slide because I felt like it was the best way to describe these issues as well as display the images and a video. I believe the best way to be moved by these types of topics are by visuals, so that is what I did. The video I included was the “Stay Woke: The Black Lives Matter Movement documentary(2016)” I saw it earlier this semester and it really moved me and I just felt like it should be included to give an understanding of America’s history of police brutality. My google slides is almost complete and I am looking forward to sharing it in my next blog post.
